This will be my year!

So it’s 2010. I have contemplated many New Years resolutions.

To many, there are so many things you can do to improve your life. They do say that less than 6% of people actually follow through on their resolutions. How do you really stay focused?

I am wanting this year to be my year of incredible actions. I am the only person that can make myself a success. I need to work harder, make more contacts, get more deals closed, get more control on short sales, get an offer in first and win, make someone smile, make someone cry but in a good way, understand more and get people to understand me.

Everything is a challenge. This past year has been an exceptionally huge challenge for me. There were a lot of ups and downs. I am refocusing myself now for 2010.

My biggest resolution this year is to find balance. I have had a tough time this past year trying to balance everything in my life….kids…husband…work…social life…activities..ect. This is a tough thing for everyone. I sometimes feel as if it is so close.

I look back now at 2009 and think WOW! I learned so much this past year. I made a lot of mistakes, but I have learned from every one of them. But there have been so many fantastic moments. The moments that I scored big and felt good about it. The little smiles I would get when my clients said thank you. My daughter looking into my eyes for the first time. This time I got the “I’m sorry I was wrong about you” from another colleague. And lastly, the many times this year that I got to help others. Helping others is the one thing that has given me some sort of peace.

Well 2010….you better watch out!! 2010 is my year for the taking!
