Why Real Estate May Not Be The Career For You

Back in the day when I first entered into the real estate biz, everyone and their mother was an agent. It didn’t take much to get clients. I saw a lot if agents who didn’t even have a clue but they were still closing deal after deal.

With the market now, it’s not as simple as getting your license. Being an agent is hard work. You have to pull all your best marketing ideas out and you have to be on top of everything. You also have to know what you are talking about.
Besides the basics of marketing, you need to be on top of the latest technology trends. Blogs, social media and digital marketing should be a way of life. It’s your responsibility to be on top of all of it. If you can’t handle it, you better be willing to pay someone to do it for you!

If this all sounds good to you, go for it. Never assume that real estate will make you a fortune. It’s hard work but if you do it right, you will be successful and ultimately make a lucrative income.
